PURPOSE:To prevent infiltration of water into a watertight container. CONSTITUTION:The container for a detector 27 disposed closely to a specimen placed in a watertight container is employed in an equipment for measuring the degree of burn-up of the specimen stored underwater. The detector container is provided with a shrinkable bag 28 having an opening fixed airtightly to an opening 30 made in the wall face of the container wherein hydraulic pressure is introduced into the bag 28 in order to balance the pressure on the inside and outside of the container.
