PURPOSE:To completely remove a coating without any residual insulator by forming an absorbing layer between a conductor and an insulating film by a carbon evaporation film formation method and increasing the absorptivity of laser light in the periphery of the boundary. CONSTITUTION:Polyester with a prescribed thickness is used for an insulator 2 and copper is used for a conductor 3. A light absorptive body 4 is formed between the conductor 3 and the insulator 2 and as the light absorptive body 4, a carbon film with a prescribed level of absorptivity of carbon dioxide gas laser is formed on the surface of the conductor 3 by vacuum evaporation method. Laser light is converged on an insulated electric cable by using lens and thus carbon dioxide gas laser whose radiation energy density is adjusted is radiated to the insulated electric cable for a prescribed radiation period with prescribed frequency and prescribed times. Consequently, the insulating body 2 and carbon evaporated film are completely removed without damaging the conductor 3 at the beam radiated parts of the insulated electric cable. As a result, the coating removed parts can have good wettability to solders without being coated with fluxes and have sufficient electric conductivity. |
