PURPOSE:To provide an electrode for a fuel cell having an electrode reaction layer of long life with a high catalytic utilization factor by preparing dispersion liquid by using a ball mill in each material, in the case of forming the electrode reaction layer by using a water repellent material except PTFE. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing an electrode for a fuel cell having an electrode reaction layer consisting of water reppelent material except PTFE such as fluorinated polyethylene coating carbon, fluorocarbon or fluorinated pitch coating carbon, etc., the electrode for the fuel cell, characterized by using a ball mill to prepare dispersion fluid in each material of the electrode reaction layer, after mixing this dispersion fluid, applying this mixed fluid to a porous conductive substrate by the blade method, after drying and washing, press molding and baking the substrate, is manufactured. |
