PURPOSE:To set the pre-electrification time irreducibly minimum by taking down time into account in the set of the pre-electrification time. CONSTITUTION:The number of prints is counted by a counter 42, and the down time during image formation is counted by a timer 44. Based on the count values obtained by the counter 42 and timer 44, the pre-electrification time is set by a microcomputer 38. For instance, in the case the number of prints is 200 and the down time is 5 minutes, the pre-electrification time is set to 60 seconds, however, in the case the down time in the same number of prints is 15 minutes, the pre-electrification is set to 40 seconds. |
