CONSTITUTION: This active material for a hydrogen absorbency alloyed electrode has a composition equation MmNi5 -x-y-zZnxQyRz where Q=Al, Ca or Sr, R=Li, Na or K, further, 0<X<1, 0<y<0.8, 0<z<1. With regard to alloy powder, an alloy layer is formed between a surface coating layer and an alloyed base material after a surface plating treatment of the alloy powder. |
