PURPOSE:To obtain a core-containing granule for oral administration having high strength of granule and excellent disintegrability, by coating a powdery scattering agent composed of a principal drug and a hydroxypropyl cellulose having low substitution degree to a core granule while spraying an aqueous binder. CONSTITUTION:Core granules of 14-80 mesh size (e.g. sucrose coated with corn starch) is coated with a powdery scattering agent composed of a principal drug (e.g. drug for central nervous system, circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system or antibiotic substance) at room temperature while spraying an aqueous binder to the granules. The binder is e.g. granulated sugar or hydroxypropyl cellulose. The powdery scattering agent may be further compounded with an excipient, binder, disintegrant, stabilizer, etc. The obtained core-containing granule may be further subjected to coating, encapsulation, etc., to mask the taste or impart enteric or gastric solubility and prolonged drug action.
