PURPOSE:To reduce vibration and noise in a package type air conditioner a by a method wherein a plurality of refrigerant pipes connecting an indoor device to an outdoor device are restricted by a member having a higher rigidity than that of the pipes. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant flows in an order of a strainer 7, an expansion valve and a distributor 9, passes through pipes 5a to 5c and flows into a heat exchanger 4. At this time, although the pipe 5 and the pipes 5a to 5c are vibrated due to pulsation of the refrigerant, each of characteristic frequencies of each of the pipes is different due to their different lengths. Due to this fact, even if vibration of one pipe is increased due to its resonance, other remaining pipes do not generate any resonance and their vibration is low. Due to this fact, the pipes 5a to 5c are restricted by a plate member 6, thereby vibration of the pipes producing resonance can be restricted low by their relative action with the restricted pipes and a frictional attenuation with the plate member 6. |
