PURPOSE:To output a loudspeaking call tone by using a picture or a light emitting device of a charger so as to allow the user to recognize call information when an incoming call comes, a power supply battery of a portable telephone set is being charged and allowing the user not to hear a call tone even when the user is parted from the portable telephone set and providing an amplifier section. CONSTITUTION:When a portable telephone set 21B receives charging from a charging circuit of a charger 2A to a power battery 28, a switch section 8 is used to select and output a call tone signal from a call tone generating circuit 24 via a connection terminal from a 1st amplifier section 26 to the charger 2A. Furthermore, the charger 2A is provided with a call tone amplifier section 9 amplifying a call signal from the connection terminal to drive the speaker 6. The amplifier section 9 is made up of a 2nd amplifier section 4A and a sound volume adjustment circuit 5 and a call tone larger than an output sound of a sounder 27 of the portable telephone set 21B is outputted from the speaker 6. Furthermore, the charger 2B is provided to activate the speaker 27 with a microphone 12 receiving a call tone from the sounder 27 as a call tone wave via space, a call tone detection section 17 and a call tone generating section 3 or the like.
