PURPOSE:To make a waiting time long by suppressing useless power consumption of a battery at a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A base station 1 is provided with a valid massage discrimination device 5 and a valid bit transmitter 6 and adds a valid bit to either a head of a slot or in the vicinity thereof and sets the valid bit inactively when only a negligible message is in existence in the slot, the station 1 sets the slot active when a negligible message or more is in existence in the slot, and sends it. A terminal equipment 2 is provided with a valid bit discrimination device 10 to discriminate the valid bit inserted to a head part of the received slot and immediately stops the monitor of the slot in the case of the inactive slot and receives till the end of the slot in the case of the active slot to decode the message. |
