<p>PURPOSE:To provide the portable telephone set with the lighting function having a function of controlling lighting/extinguishment of a lighting depending on a line connection state and a function measuring the surrounding luminous intensity in response to dialing and call reception operation and key entry to regulate a lighting quantity. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set is provided with a display section 5, an operation section 4, a lighting circuit 3 lighting them, a light receiving circuit 6 measuring the surrounding luminous intensity of the display section 5 and the operation section 4 and a control section 2 receiving luminous intensity information from the light receiving circuit 6, controlling the lighting circuit 3 in response to the luminous intensity information to light/extinguish the lighting.</p> |
