<p>PURPOSE:To realize a stable operation by detecting that a power supply voltage becomes less than the holding voltage of a memory, and exactly operating the initialization of a circuit, in an electronic equipment driven by a battery power source. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a RAM 16 which is backed-up by a supply voltage Vmem from batteries 17 and 18 being a power source, voltage detector 21 being a detecting means which detects that the supply voltage Vmem to the RAM 16 is less than a prescribed value, and latch circuit 27 being a storage means which stores information indicating the voltage dropping state obtained by the voltage detector 21. Moreover, the device is equipped with a CPU 11 which checks the content of the latch circuit 27 when the power source of the equipment is turned on, and executes a preliminarily set initialization, for example, message display for urging system reset at a liquid crystal display part 13 when the information indicating the voltage dropping state is stored.</p> |
