<p>PURPOSE:To improve the erasing accuracy of a heat reversible recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When data are printed on a display part 2 of a card, the time data is written in a storing part 1 of the card to show the printing time. The printing time elapsed is calculated for the part 2 based on the time data and before erasure of the part 2, and, the optimum erasion energy is calculated to the printing of the part 2 based on the preceding time elapsed and the characteristic data showing the relation between the optimum erasing energy and the time elapsed after printing to carry out the erasure of the part 2. Therefore, the part 2 of the card can always be completely erased regardless of the time elapsed after printing.</p> |
