DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC MAIL

PURPOSE: To provide a device and method for sending an electronic mail through a speech device. CONSTITUTION: An electronic mail object including an action which can be executed by a data processing system is sent from one data processing system to another system through the speech device. The action is converted to a previously fixed speech pattern by a system on a transmission side. The electronic mail object can include a text in addition to the action and the text is also converted to the speech pattern. The speech pattern is sent through a telephone line or another communication medium. A speech device on a receiving side records the electronic mail object. A receiving user puts the recorded electronic mail object to the system and gives a proper instruction to the system. The system executes the action and return the text made the speech patter to the text. The action can be converted to the text and displayed by the instruction of the receiving user.
