<p>PURPOSE:To provide the cursor controller which improves the resolution of remotely controlled coordinate detection and smoothly moves a cursor. CONSTITUTION:This cursor controller is provided with a display device 32 on which the cursor is displayed, a remotely controlled transmitter provided with a light emitting element which emits light having a specific wavelength, an image pickup part which picks up the image of the light emitting element in a prescribed image pickup area, a position detecting means which detects the position of the light emitting element based on the image picked up by the image pickup part, and cursor control means 30 and 31 which control the cursor position on the display picture of the display device 32 based on the position of the light emitting element detected by the position detecting means, and the image pickup part is provided with plural image pickup devices 21, 22, and 23 having image pickup areas which are at least partially different from one another and form the prescribed image pickup area as the whole, and position detecting means 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 detect the position of the light emitting element of the remotely controlled transmitter based on images picked by plural image pickup devices 21, 22, and 23.</p> |
