PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the frequency by reducing the invalid position registration when a mobile station moves frequently and to reduce control traffic in the mobile communication system of the microcellular mode. CONSTITUTION:When a movement sensing signal from a movement sensor means 17 indicates a change from a mobile state to a stop state of a mobile station 1, a timer is started by a timer control means 18 and when the movement sensing signal of the mobile station is not again outputted during the start state of the timer, a control means 16 makes control allowing the position registration to a base station with a high electric field strength from a base station after start stop of the timer. Furthermore, when the moving speed is a predetermined speed or over based on a mobile speed signal from a mobile speed detection means, the control means 16 makes control not to make position registration. Furthermore, the control means 16 makes control not to provide position registration when a time interval is a predetermined time or over based on the time interval of the position registration request transmission from the timer means. |
