<p>PURPOSE:To attain an accurate detection of abnormality in a tension sensor without damaging a tape by providing an open-loop driving means for a reel of supply side, an objective tension setting means and an abnormality detecting means for a tape tension detecting means, on a conventional device. CONSTITUTION:The open-loop driving means for the reel of supply side which consists of a CPU 19, a reel motor 20 of supply side, a D/A converter and motor driver 22, cuts off a servo driving for the reel of supply side and drives by the open-loop. The objective tension setting means which consists of the CPU 19, the reel motor 20 of supply side and a FG counter 21, sets the objective tension on the open-loop according to the open-loop driving means 19, 20, 22 for the reel of supply side. The abnormality detecting means for the tape tension detecting means which consists of the CPU 19 and a nonvolatile memory 24, detects the abnormality and minute variation of the tension sensor 13 by comparing the objective tension set from the objective tension setting means 19, 20, 21 and the tape tension of the tension sensor 13.</p> |
