PURPOSE:To discover the fault due to the non-digital fact at an early stage and to improve the reliability of system by monitoring the effective time of a signal line on a bus. CONSTITUTION:A counter group 1 which starts counting by the change of the signal line to an effective state consists of a minimum value counter 10i per one signal line and a maximum value counter 11i. The count value of the counters 10i and 11i are stored in a minimum value register 20 and a maximum value register 21 of an initial setting register group 2. Based on the carry of each counter and the signal line state, an error discrimination part 3 judges whether the signal effective time is in the regular time value or not. The error is notified to a bus master device when it is outside the regular time value and the error information is outputted to the error information register 4. |
