PURPOSE: To limit the max. potential during normal operation, avoid malfunctions and prevent the drawback that the blocking condition of an output transistor could not be held, on account of to a failure current. CONSTITUTION: This final stage circuit has a switching logic designed to switch over an output transistor 13 integrated in aπ-well, upon reaching a specified lead current-limit value. Theπ-well of this transistor 13 is constituted as a separateπ-well, having a diode 14 which connects the earth terminal to aπ-region of this well. |
