PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic transceiver for tire type probe which can endure long time operation in high temperature atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic transceiver 2 comprises an ultrasonic oscillator 2A, a front board 2B for supporting the ultrasonic oscillator 2A, and a case body 2D for supporting the front board 2B fixedly at the periphery on the rear side thereof while covering the ultrasonic oscillator 2A part of the front board 2B. The ultrasonic oscillator 2A is applied to the rear side of the front board 2B through a heat resistant elastic adhesive 2a. The front board 2B is secured, at the periphery on the rear side thereof, to the case body 2D by means of screws through a heat resistant elastic adhesive 2b. The securing screws are shown by a symbol 2C. Furthermore, the case body 2D, the front board 2B, and the securing screws 2C are made of plastic of same quality and the coefficients of thermal expansion thereof are substantially identical. |
