<p>PURPOSE:To prevent vertical split and horizontal split of a filter from taking place simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust particle purifying device which is installed in the exhaust passage of a diesel engine, and provided with a filter 2 for eliminating exhaust particles included in exhaust gas, in a case 1 connected to the exhaust passage, a sealing member 4 for applying compressing force in radial direction of the filter 2 is arranged on the outer circumferential part of the filter 2, and the filter 2 is stores in the case 1. A ring member 7 for exerting compressing force in radial direction of the filter 2 is fixed on the non-sealing part of the outer circumferential part of the filter 2, and the ring member 7 is connected to the case in relatively movable condition. As a result, neither stress nor crake is generated in the filter 2, even if slippage is generated between the case 1 and the filter 2.</p> |
