PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition suitable for washing of bathrooms, tablewars, etc., excellent in cleaning ability, having very little stimulation to the skin and containing a betaine type amphoteric surfactant, a specific glycerol derivative and a solvent each in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:This detergent composition contains (A) betaine type amphoteric surfactant (suitably lauric acid amidopropyl-N,N-dimethyl-acetic acid betaine, etc.), (B) a glycerol derivative of the formula [R<1> and R<2> are H or an 8-24C (un)saturated straight chain or branched chain acyl], (e.g. coconut acid glycerol ester, etc.) and (C) 0.1-50wt.% solvent (preferably 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone, etc.), where the sum total of the components A and B is 0.1-50wt.% and a weight ratio of the components A to B is 100/1 to 1/10. Here, it is preferable to add thereto a metal blocking agent and a synthetic surfactant except the component A, and also it is preferable to adjust pH of the composition to 6.5-8.5 from the view of cleaning ability. |
