A porous pipe for automatic irrigation is made in a special extrusion head from a homogeneous mixt. of 60-70 vol. % of ground rubber of grain size less than 800 microns partic. from recycled car tyres; together with 40-30 vol. % of linear low density polyethylene of average size 300 microns. Pref., the rubber and polyethylene are mixed before being precisely closed into the extruder at a rate equal to 100% of the extrusion speed. e.g. 15m/mm. The max. is submitted to melting, forming, and compression stages in the head with zone temp. of approx. 120 deg. C. The special head has a dia. of length 15% less than the cone length compared to normal dies; the point is also modified. The compression and cones have reduced opening angles and maximum dia. USE/ADVANTAGE - Automatic irrigation of porous pipes. Ensures constant output along all the pipe, also reduction of pumping losses due to smooth interior. |
