<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of soot stuck to the inside of an exhaust cylinder arranged in a marine vessel and on a land vehicle in which a diesel engine is mounted, and eliminate the stuck soot by a simple method. CONSTITUTION:A net material 2 having heat resistance and corrosion resistance is provided exchangeably on the inside in the vicinity of the upper end of an exhaust cylinder 1 which is provided in a marine vessel or a vehicle and whose upper end is opened, and soot included in flue gas which rises along the inside part of the exhaust cylinder 1 is collected by the net material 2 so as to reduce the amount of soot which is discharged outside together with flue gas or which falls down inside the exhaust cylinder 1.</p> |
