Equipment for filling and emptying WC cisterns of the type in which the float valve includes a central spool with an internal valve element the overflow tube of which includes means via which it can be secured to a float (50) of the type which offers the user, by means of two separate controls, the possibility of choosing between a part flush and a full flush, characterised in that the main pipe (1) divides into two symmetrical circuits (2a) and (2b) which combine in the compartment (3) which the pistons (4) and (5) of the rod (6) of the central spool (7) form between them, which spool contains the valve element (8), the outer part of which at its end bears the plate (9) secured to the float (11), that each of the circuits (2a) and (2b) includes a granules-type filter and a ball valve (21) which interacts with a draining opening (25), that selectively depressing one of the control rods (32) means that water flows through one of the branches passing through the filter which corresponds to it in the direction of filtration, and in that after having passed through the compartment (3) it passes across the other filter in countercurrent mode to flow out by the draining of the other branch. <IMAGE>
