<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feeder, by which penetration of the tip of paper into a separation jaw part is prevented, while paper jam, skew, folding of paper edge hardly occur, and space is saved, by means of a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:In a paper feeder provided with a carrying plate 3, which is freely rotational, for carrying paper and a separation jaw 6 for separating the piled paper one by one in a paper storage container 1, projecting parts 12 projecting to the paper conveying downstream side further than the paper tip touching part, of the separation jaw 6 are arranged in the carrying plate 3. In addition, grooves 14 for moving the projecting part 12 along the moving direction of the carrying plate 3 are arranged in opposed positions to the projecting parts 12 of the paper storage container 1.</p> |
