COATING COMPOSITION FOR FORMING LIGHT SHIELDING PATTERN OF COLOR FILTER

PURPOSE:To obtain a coating composition, composed of a water-soluble polyimide resin composition and a water-based coating containing graphite particles dispersed therein and excellent in adhesion to substrates, safety for human bodies, weather and chemical resistances and light shielding properties. CONSTITUTION:This composition is composed of (A) a water-soluble polyimide resin composition and (B) a water-based coating containing graphite particles dispersed therein. In the composition, the content of the component (A) is 0.15-10wt.% and the graphite particles of the component (B) have <=3mum particle diameter, 40-95wt.% content of particles having <=0.1mum particle diameter and 0.05-0.08mum average particle diameter. The content of the graphite particles is 2-20wt.% and those of the water and dispersing agent are respectively preferably 40-97wt.% and 0.1-10wt.%.
