The method improves the optical characteristics as well as prolongs the lifetime of the optical disc by forming the recording layer as multi-layer metal film. The method comprise the steps of forming: the first recording layer (6) on the substrate (5) using Bi; the second recording layer (7) on the first recording layer (6) using BiTeSe; the first protecting layer (8) on the second recording layer (7) using poly urethane; the second protecting layer (9) on the first layer (8) using UV resin.
