PURPOSE:To rapidly manufacture an ID card etc., by providing a cured layer of an ultraviolet curable resin composition containing an acrylic compound as a main ingredient on a layer made of polyvinyl chloride resin, polyurethane resin, etc., which receives a sublimable image, and forming an outermost layer of an opposite as a writable layer. CONSTITUTION:An image recording medium A adapted to be used for an ID card such as an identification card, a driving license, etc., comprises a base material 1 having an image receiving layer 1b on one side of a support 1a. An image 3 including gradation information is formed by a sublimation heat transfer system and an image 2 including character information is formed by a melting heat transfer system on a surface of the layer 1b. The layer 1b is formed of polyvinyl chloride resin, vinyl chloridevinyl acetate copolymer resin, polyurethane resin or polyester resin. A cured protective layer 4 made of an ultraviolet curable resin composition containing an acrylic compound as a main ingredient is provided on an entire surface of the material 1 having the images 2, 3, and a writable layer 5 is provided on an outermost layer of an opposite side. |
