PURPOSE:To automate the preparation of a packaged KONJAK (paste made from starch of devil's tongue) having spherical form, sheet form, etc., from the forming step to the packaging step using a plastic bag and mechanical power in contrast with conventional process comprising manual cutting of a KONJAK block into spherical form, etc. CONSTITUTION:The KONJAK forming mechanism is constructed of a continuous sheet of a transparent soft synthetic resin such as polyethylene, a pair of rollers having mold forms and a nozzle for injecting KONJAK raw material. The continuous sheet is folded in two, both side edges in the longitudinal direction and an end are welded to form an elongated bag, a KONJAK raw material paste is poured into the elongated bag through the injection nozzle and the bag is welded in a direction crossing the longitudinal direction using the roller pair at regular spacings to form plural divided bags. Both side faces of the small bag are protruded in the form of the mold-form of the roller and the bag containing the KONJAK raw material paste is heated to obtain the formed and packaged KONJAK product. |
