METHOD FOR PROLIFERATING CANCER CELL

PURPOSE:To selectively proliferate only a cancer cell by culturing the cancer cell containing a normal cell present therein and stopping or suppressing the extension or proliferation thereof without killing the normal cell. CONSTITUTION:A cancer cell containing a normal cell present therein is cultured on the surface of a culturing substrate substantially composed of a synthetic polymer and a cell growth factor to selectively proliferate the cancer cell. The culturing substrate is prepared by blending collagen and a temperature- sensitive polymer having 32 deg.C lower critical solution temperature (LCST) with water and drying the resultant coating solution at 1/6.7 weight ratio of the temperature-sensitive polymer to the growth factor at 28 deg.C.
