PURPOSE:To provide a printing device having a means with which a user can easily print characters on a plurality of faces of an article. CONSTITUTION:When a set sensor 28 detects that a floppy disk is inserted into an insert opening 4, a control circuit outputs a signal to a solenoid driver so as to drive a fixed solenoid 25. Accordingly, a tip of a stopper 23 comes in contact with the upper edge of the floppy disk so as to regulate up-and-down (in the direction of D) movement of the floppy disk. The back-and-forth movement (in the direction of E) of the floppy disk is regulated by an R guide 21 and an L guide 22. A heat generating section of a print head 18 is pressed to a label of the floppy disk through a thermal transfer ribbon so as to make a printable state. |
