PURPOSE:To provide a treatment instrument for an endoscope having an operation part which will not be dislocated and broken even if strong operating force is applied to a slider. CONSTITUTION:In a treatment instrument for an endoscope so constructed that an operation part 14 for moving a wire 25 forward and backward is attached on the base end part of a flexible tube 12, the operation part 14 comprises an operating slider 20 capable of freely sliding with respect to a main body 16 and a pressing member 24 fitted in the cavity 21 of the slider, to which the rear end of the wire 25 is connected. The pressing member 24 is provided with an elastic projection 30 disposed on the forward end region, which can be passed through the cavity of the slider 20 by elastic deformation and is locked on the slider 20 when the pressing member is inserted in the cavity 21 to a designated depth from the rear end side of the slider 20, and a projection 32 which is brought into contact with the slider 20 when the pressing member 24 is inserted to a designated depth in the cavity is formed on the rear end region of the pressing member 24. |
