PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE PEROVSKITE-TYPE OXIDE POWDER

PURPOSE:To produce an easily sinterable piezoelectric oxide fine powder having high surface activity at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:This oxide powder is produced by preparing an acidic mixed solution containing ions of individual constituent elements constituting a composite perovskite-type oxide expressed by the general formula (Pb1-xMx) (Ti1-yZy)O3 (M is at least one kind of rare earth element; O<=x<=1; O<=y<=1, adding hydrogen peroxide to the acidic mixed solution to obtain a precursor solution and thermally decomposing the precursor in the precursor solution.
