PURPOSE:To obtain a skin external preparation, good in extensibility, having smooth feeling of use and excellent in humectant and softening actions on a horny layer of the skin without changing the appearance with time. CONSTITUTION:This skin external preparation contains (A) one or two or more selected from polysaccharides, e.g. acidic heteropolysaccharides derived from a plant belonging to the genus Polianthes, xanthan gum, cationized cellulose, sodium hyaluronate, alginic acid, CM-chitin, carboxymethyl cellulose and tau- carrageenan and (B) L-arginine. The respective ingredients are blended in amounts within the range of preferably 0.0001-10wt.%, especially 0.001-1wt.% ingredient (A) and preferably 0.0001-10wt.%, especially 0.001-5wt.% ingredient (B). |
