PURPOSE:To approximate the change of responsiveness of the actual turning angle of a tire with regard to the steering wheel turning angle to a linear form (proportional straight line) with a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:A steering device in which a steering gear box 10 made up by integrally fitting the power cylinder 21 of the power steering device is fitted to a vehicle body 30 (not shown) via rubber bushes 31, 32 is provided with an actuator 40 whose one end is connected to the vehicle body 30 and whose other end is connected to the steering gear box 10 for moving the steering gear box 10 in the axial direction of the power cylinder 21. In addition, the device is provided with pressure introducing means (conduit tubes 51, 52) for introducing the assist pressure being supplied to the power cylinder 21 to the actuator 40 so as to offset the reaction acting on the steering gear box 10 at the time of steering. |
