PURPOSE:To provide the title new coloring matter excellent in spectral absorption characteristics, heat resistance and moisture resistance. CONSTITUTION:A pyrazoloimidazole coloring matter having a fused ring represented by the formula wherein R1 and R2 are each H or (substituted) alkyl and they may form a five- or six-membered ring; R3 to R6 are each H, halogen, (substituted) alkyl or (substituted) alkoxy, and R1 and R4 or R2 and R6 may form a fiveor six-membered ring; R7 is H or a substituent having a Hammett SIGMAp of 0 or greater; and Z is a group of nonmetallic atoms necessary for the formation of a six-membered heterocyclic ring. |
