PURPOSE:To enhance the conserving quality of printed part and reduce the greasing of unprinted part by a method wherein a dye precursor, a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing developer and at least one coating layer are provided on at least one surface of a sheet-like base body and a specific aromatic compound is incorporated into the developer. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensitive recording body suitable for the passenger ticket, etc., of the heat-sensitive recording type for use in an automatic ticket vending machine has the heat-sensitive coloring layer containing colorless or light-colored dye precursor and a developer reactive with the dye precursor under heat to color the same formed on one surface of a sheet-like base body and coating layers formed on the sheet-like base body and on at least one side of the heat-sensitive coloring layers. In this case, is used the developer which contains the aromatic compound having in one molecule at least two functional groups expressed by the formula (wherein X is oxygen or sulfur atom). The difficulty water-soluble or water-insoluble inorganic acid salts of alkaline earth metals are incorporated into at least one layer not adjoining to the heat-sensitive coloring layer of the coating layers. |
