<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a sliding noise from occurring by regulating the degree of freedom in the axial direction of a rotary disk in rotation even in such a structure as making braking spring force act on both sides of this rotary disk. CONSTITUTION:This braking device mainly consists of an electromagnet 1, a brake spring 2, a moving iron core 3, a brake disk 4, a rotary disk 5, a center hub 6 and a stud 9. A cylindrical body 12 with an inner flange 12a is attached tight to the rotary disk 5, while a disk 14 is attached tight to the center hub 6 and then set up at the side of the rotary disk 5 of the inner flange 12a, and a compression spring 21 is installed in space between the disk 14 and the rotary disk 5. A travel distance delta of the rotary disk 5 is made smaller than a gap (g) of the moving iron core 3, and also force of the braking spring 2 is made smaller enough than that of the braking spring 2. Supposing braking is opened and the rotary disk 5 in rotation is energized toward the moving iron core 3 by dint of the compression spring 21, it is g>delta, so an axial position of the rotary disk 5 is determined in an interval between the moving iron core 3 and the braking disk 4 existing in the open position, therefore it is not slidden with the moving iron core 3 and the brake disk 4 and consequently there is no slising noise at all.</p> |
