<p>PURPOSE:To surely retain the freshness and flavor just after harvesting fresh mushrooms such as Lyophyllum ulmarium Kuhn in a hermetically sealed state to a stage of the final consumption. CONSTITUTION:Fresh mushrooms 1 such as Lyophyllum ulmarium Kuhn just after harvesting are housed in a gas-permeable shrinkable film sheet such as polyvinyl chloride so as to be directly sandwiched therebetween. A small hole 4 for venting is bored at a specific site of the film sheet and kept in a sealed state in which the periphery 6 is heat-sealed. The resultant sheet is then passed through a hot-air type heater 9' and hot air 10 at the set temperature is blown from hot-air nozzles 9 in a short time as much as possible such as several sec to carry out the shrinking packaging by heat shrinkage. Thereby, hermetically sealable merchandise 11 is formed and the small hole 4 venting air is heat- sealed just after the formation to seal the merchandise. As a result, the sealed merchandise is then subjected to packaging and distribution or storage in a warehouse.</p> |
