<p>A cap to be mounted on the neck portion of a container having a pilfer-proof mechanism for allowing a clear discrimination between removed and unremoved caps, the cap comprising a cap main body formed from resin and having a topped tubular shape and pilfer-proof ring formed from resin and mounted on the bottom portion of the cap main body in an exposed fashion. A pilfer-proof ring retaining an annular shape even after the cap has been removed may give us an impression that the cap has not yet been removed. With the cap of the present invention, once the cap is removed, pilfer-proof ring is cut apart at a portion along the length thereof so as to form a single spiral piece.</p> |
