<p>A skin treatment composition is provided comprising a skin benefit ingredient selected from the group consisting of an alpha hydroxy acid, a salt or ester thereof, and mixtures thereof and a chelating agent. Suitable chelating agents have a high affinity with zinc and/or magnesium ions, more specifically the chelating agent is selected from the group consisting of chelating agents having an affinity with zinc ion of greater than 9.2, chelating agents having an affinity with magnesium ion of greater that 1.9, and mixtures thereof.</p> |
