Deckchair convertible into a rocking chair

The deckchair has a supporting frame with a pair of supporting bars (16) which each possess a runner-like middle part (20), are each arranged on a longitudinal side of the deckchair, are interconnected at the front and back by supporting braces (18) and are constructed to support a mat (22). The supporting bar is connected adjustably to a leg frame possessing a pair of leg bars (10). The latter are likewise each arranged on a longitudinal side of the deckchair and are also interconnected at the front and back by leg braces (12) and each possess an armrest-like middle part (14). Each leg bar (10) is connected to the associated supporting bar (16) by two clamps (30) each of which is adjustable along the two associated bars (10, 16). The leg bars (10) can be adjusted upwards to such a degree that only the middle part (20) of the supporting bars (16) stand on the ground, with the result that the deckchair becomes a rocking chair. <IMAGE>
