The invention relates to a regulating device for the pressure of a medium, the device comprising a housing body having an inlet for the medium, a valve device whose valve body is carried by a diaphragm unit and can be adjusted by a gas pressure, especially air pressure, acting on that side of the diaphragm which faces away from the medium axially with respect to the inflow direction of the medium, and an outlet for the medium. To improve the operating behaviour and to facilitate maintenance or commissioning, it is proposed according to the invention that the diaphragm unit can be loaded axially by a spring device which has a first spring of constant spring force and a second spring whose spring force, directed counter to that of the first spring, can be adjusted by an actuating element. <IMAGE>
