PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacture of the title projection and to improve welding quality by removing an insulator coating by cutting and forming a projection part lower than a peripheral part and arranging a further lower thin-wall deformation part around it. CONSTITUTION:The welding side surface of material 10 to be welded is cut by cutting and the projection part 20 lower thin the surface of the material 10 to be welded and the further lower thin-wall deformation part 21 are formed. When the material 10 to be welded on which the projection 20 and the deformation part 21 are formed is brought into contact with the other side member 30, both are closely stuck to each other. An electrode for welding is pressed against the rear side of the projection part 20 to press it and at the same time, electrification is executed to weld the projection part 20 to the member 30. The deformation part 21 is deformed and the members 10 and 30 are stuck and welded together. Since the projection part 20 is formed by cutting, its manufacture is simplified and the electrifying surface is worked accurately, hence welding quality is improved. |
