PURPOSE:To light each part of a room uniformly by a method wherein respective lighting fixtures arranged on the four sides of a square lighting are block equipped with an asymetric light distribution characteristics each that has a peak in the outward direction of the block. CONSTITUTION:Light distribution characteristics 16 of a lighting fixture 10 are asymmetric, and fixtures are assembled in a square block 17 with a peak 16a of the light distribution characteristics 16 located outside of the square to be embedded on a ceiling 7. Since the lighting fixtures 10 are assembled so that the peak 16a of the light distribution characteristics 16 each provided asymmetric is located outside the block 17, quantity of light to be irradiated outward from each block 17 is large, causing a floor part which is likely to be dark can be lightened efficiently. This enables a lower part between respective lighting units located in a square to be efficiently lightened. |
