Cementlessly implantable acetabular cup

A cementlessly implantable acetabular cup is to be anchored reliably in the pelvic bone. Several anchor strips (7) carrying teeth (8 to 12) are preferably mounted on swivelling axes (5) on the acetabular cup (1). On pivoting of the anchor strips (7) the teeth (8 to 12) penetrate into the pelvic bone (K). The tooth flank (14) of each tooth (8 to 12) facing away from the swivelling axis (5) is located on a radius (r8 to r12) about the swivelling axis (5) which in each case corresponds to the distance of the tooth tip (13) of each particular tooth from the swivelling axis (5). <IMAGE>
