A device for reducing sound transmission in buildings contains, in particular, in a lead-through in a floor (ceiling), a tube with a fire-protection means. The device is intended to be further developed to the effect that the production of structure-borne-sound bridges is prevented and the transmission of structure-borne sound is, to the greatest extent, reduced. It is proposed that provision be made, adjoining the fire-protection means (8) and in the region of the lead-through (4), for a sound-protection cap (26) which encloses the tube (2, 3) at least in the region of the lead-through (4). <IMAGE>
