A composite film comprises a base resin layer; a first covering layer of a resin composition (1) which is laminated to one side of the base resin layer and which comprises each of the following components (A) to (D): (A) a heat-sealable olefinic polymer (B) a diorganopolysiloxane (C) a fine-powdered heat-resistant resin, and (D) a higher fatty acid amide; and a second covering layer of a resin composition (2) which is laminated to the other side of the base resin layer and which comprises components (A) and (D) as defined above. This composite film has good slidability, antistaticity, releasability, clarity and compatibility with high-speed automatic overwrap packaging machines.
