A roller element for a toboggan consisting of an outer cylinder 31, an inner tube 32 and connection members 33 for establishing the connections between them, all of which are manufactured entirely from a material having suitable elasticity, wear resistance, resistance to bad weather, etc., in which the outer cylinder is thick enough to be deformable, and has a stop slightly shorter than the space defined between the outer cylinder and the inner tube so as to limit the amount of deformation of the outer cylinder, alternatively equipped with ribs for the connection members that are connected to the outer cylinder and to the inner tube at the small-diameter end of the outer cylinder, and connected to the inner tube only at the large-diameter end of the outer cylinder to form a hollow of some 2-3 mm between the outer rim of the inner tube and the inner face of the outer cylinder. <IMAGE>
