<p>The present invention refers to a process and a device for treating the washing liquid in printing presses, particularly for offset printing presses. The treatment process consists of subjecting the washing liquid, which is based on water and has preset levels of acidity and electrical conductivity, to electrolysis before it is sent to the washing cylinder of the printing press. This process makes it possible to increase considerably the speed at which the ink dries in the printing phase and to enhance the efficiency of the printing press significantly.</p> |
